An Intellectual Argument

When a man is killed
A wife loses her husband
When a man is killed
A child loses her father

When a man is killed
A father loses his son
When a man is killed
A sister loses her brother

When a man is killed
His future dies with him
When a man is killed
His family’s hopes are dimmed

When a man is killed
In the name of a false cause
When a man is killed
With scant regard for the laws

When a man is killed
It is not a question of sentiment
When a man is killed
It is not an intellectual argument
